Arlington Summer Blast, a ministry of Arlington Baptist School, exists to bring young people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, to teach them God's truths, and to provide safe, fun, and enriching summer recreation to children in the Baltimore, Maryland area. We fulfill our mission by: conducting daily chapels where the gospel of Jesus Christ is uniquely and clearly presented and where children are taught to properly serve God, staffing the program with godly men and women who have been carefully screened and trained as counselors, organizing field trips and daily activities that provide a wholesome and rich environment for the children, providing positive reinforcement to those children who complete verse memory work as well as to those who exemplify commendable Christian conduct, encouraging, building up, and edifying those who fall short of exhibiting commendable Christian conduct at all levels, teaching children to seek God, love their neighbor, and bear fruit as disciples of Jesus Christ, and encouraging definite spiritual decisions at the level of each child's readiness.
